Kamila is has completed two years of veterinary medicine at the RVC and is currently spending a year completing an intercalated BSc in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College. She is very interested the fast-evolving field of technology in animal health and is hoping to combine that with a career in small animal clinical practice in the long term.
Kamila has completed several research projects varying from investigating the relationship between neutering dogs and the development of canine diabetes mellitus to identifying significant barriers to students with learning differences in veterinary examinations. Currently, as well as working with WikiVet, she plays an active role in the student network and registered charity Students for Global Health as the National Director of Finance, where interdisciplinary collaboration is encouraged in order to tackle global health problems. Outside of the classroom, you can find her singing her heart out on stage, baking biscuits or on an agility course with her two dogs
